Activities began in 2004 when two engineers, Francesco Testi and Francesco Pugi, decided to open a design studio (Studio Associato Professionale 99) to deal essentially with the design of machines – or parts of machines – for industrial plants.

The studio, which uses the software Solid Edge software for development and prototyping activities, soon gained considerable experience in the field of automatic and semi-automatic machines, immediately showing great versatility and a marked ability to meet the needs of its customers with highly customised creative solutions.

In 2014, there was a need to complete the studio’s activities by offering new products to support the design process: to this end, a 3D printer with FDM technology technology, capable of producing any type of mechanism or model is purchased.

In 2016, with the establishment of Novanta9 snc a further step was taken: not only planning, but also the implementation of systems themselves is now offered.

Today, the experience gained over more than 15 years allows Novanta9 to offer itself as the ideal partner for even the most demanding customers, with new concept projects.   Development and innovation are at the heart of Novanta9, which has always been on the lookout for new challenges; to date, these have been tackled successfully and above all with continuous professional growth and evolution of the company’s technical capabilities.
